Donburi Yokocho
Asaichi is truly one of the best known tourist attractions in Hakodate! Of particular renown are the seafood donburi, made from the freshest catch from the sea, which fill both the heart and the stomach.
Donburi Yokocho was renovated in the spring of 2005. Now it is known and loved as the gateway to Asaichi.
Besides donburi there is also a wide variety of fresh food caught in the seas nearby, such as squid, fish, and shellfish, and a number of famous shops can be found here, so it is definitely worth a visit!
