Hakodate Kujira Ya
Since many years ago, the citizens of Hakodate, which is home to a small-type whaling base, have enjoyed the taste of whale dishes.
With a selection of goods that are only available here, [NAME OF SHOP] is visited by many of the local townspeople in search of nostalgic flavors.
Fresh marine products and delicacies available in the store include not only minke whale “bacon” and shio-kujira (whale skin pickled in salt), but also ika tokkuri (dried squid in the shape of sake bottles), hotate hoshikai-bashira (conpoy or dried scallops), and squid somen noodles.
